The President
Hi my name is Eric Elgin and I am a sophomore Accounting major from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. I am the new President of Rider Catholic Campus Ministry this upcoming year. I play on the Rider Men’s Soccer team along with belonging to the Accounting Society and participating in the Business and Baccalaurette Honors programs. I also enjoy attending Men’s Group and Wednesday night dinners at Emmaus House, participating in service projects, as well as Altar Serving and Lectoring at Gill Chapel on the weekends. It’s going to be a fun and exciting year at CCM and I’m excited to meet all of the new students who join us at Emmaus House

Rollie Malfitanor

My name is Rollie and I’m vice president. It’s gonna be my first year on the board. I enjoy hanging out at the house for good food, good friends, watching sports, and occasional spiritual guidance. My goal is to give 100% in everything I do so I have no regrets. At NCYC 2009 I learned to remember where I came from and not to be stupid. I am involved with the Marianist order. I help at at mass sometimes with readings and communion. I am a sophomore Biology major and play number 1 for the tennis team. I have no idea what I am going to do after graduating from Rider. My name is RJ Barkelew and I am a junior Communications and Film and Media Studies major at Rider University. I am currently the treasurer for the Rider University Catholic Campus Ministry as well as a member of the Student Entertainment Council, a staff writer for the Rider News, and an altar server at Rider University’s Gill Chapel.

Hi! Ella Here! My full name is pretty long and my favorite color is purple. I’m simply a chemistry major now but I hope to add Math and Biology as my minor. My favorite hobby is Singing and dancing in the rain and I also love to read. The joy of the Lord is my strength so you might not want to mess with me because I have to admit I’m VERY VERY strong, just saying. My life goal is to make a difference in the world and my daily goal is make a difference in at least one person’s life. I love food. I love CCM. I love my family. Margaret Walsh
Service Chair
Hi everyone! My name is Margaret Walsh and I am the Service chair of CCM. I’m a Junior here at Rider, double majoring in elementary education and psychology with a minor in special education. I enjoy working with children, which is why I am an Irish dance instructor in my spare time. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I love being involved in CCM here at Rider and all the various opportunities it has to offer!
Matthew Marzorati
PR Chair
Hi! My name is Matthew Marzorati and I’ am Junior at Rider University. I’ am a TV and Radio Major, with a minor in Film and Media Studies. This is my first year as PR Chair for the Catholic Campus Ministry. I recently designed our website and its looks great! (Of course I think so…lol). My favorite thing about CCM is our Wednesday Night Dinner at the Emmaus House, because there you can meet so many different people and it’s a chance to talk about our catholic faith. Also, I enjoy going to the Men’s Group on Tuesday night. I hope you will drop by the Emmaus House and check us out. Meaghan King
Music and Liturgy Chair
Meaghan King is a graduate student at Westminster Choir College of Rider University, pursuing a Master’s Degree and double majoring in Organ Performance and Sacred Music: Organ Emphasis. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from Ave Maria University in Naples, Florida in 2009. Currently, she serves as the organist and choir director at the Hungarian Reformed Church in New Brunswick. She also plays organ regularly for Masses at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Princeton and serves as the music coordinator at the Saturday Vigil Masses for Catholic Campus Ministries of Rider University in Lawrenceville.
Ashley Davidson
Spiritual Chair
Hi my name is Ashley and I am currently a Senior studying History and Elementary Education. I am a transfer student and currently hold an Associate’s Degree in Elementary and Secondary Education from Warren County Community College. I am a convert to Catholicism as of Easter 2010. I am part of the Altar Rosary Society at my home parish and enjoy everything that the Catholic faith has to offer. I volunteer a lot of my time with different events that CCM offers. I also volunteer at my home elementary school spending what time I can there. In addition, I am a cake decorator on the weekends. I enjoy every aspect of CCM because of the people that I am able to meet and interact with.
